Organic Orange Chips

These were a new treat for me! Putting things on sale works; that is what made me order them. Now I am addicted! I love the sweet/bitter contrast and the soft/crunchy contrast. They are my go-to snack with the cashews I ordered. And, as someone said, that powerful blast of orange aroma every time I open the bag is so wonderful.

Very disappointed....they are sooo bitter none of the adults or kids wanted to eat them. We liked the crunch but not the very bitter flavor.

I was hoping that these were going to have a strong orange flavor and be more crispy than the regular orange slices. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. The first bite grabs you with its bright orange taste. Yes, there is that nip of bitterness from the peel but not so overpowering as to stay in your mouth. I'm glad I purchased as much as I did so I won't run out soon. Thrilled that I got these on sale. BellaViva has the best organic dried fruit.

It was a gift for daughter. She can find uses for it, but she said eating it alone is too bitter, and I was hoping it would make a great out-of-hand snack. I think she is going to make a marmalade type with it... I love sending her dried fruits, and will select something else next time.

Having never before tried dried oranges I did not know what to expect. These are delicious, a burst of intense citrus flavor in every bite. A healthy alternative for potato chips when a crunchy snack is desired.
