Candied Walnuts

We have been purchasing Christmas fruits and nuts from Bella Viva since 2017 and have always been pleased with the quality. However, this �last Christmas one of the recipients said her candied walnuts were rancid. We checked with the other two recipients and one said the nuts were stale and the other said they were not good and did not have a "nutty" texture. So clearly, there was a problem with the candied walnuts in December of 2020. I was certain there would be no problem rectifying the situation. I filled out their online "contact" form and asked if the walnuts could be replaced with white nectarines which were of similar value and loved by all. On the form, it states that customer service gets back to you within 24 hours. After a week passed and no response, we submitted a second form but still no reply. It saddens us that we will no longer be able to send Bella Viva products at Christmas. As a follow up, I should mention that one of the recipients tried contacting Bella Viva directly and after many attempts and unanswered phone calls was finally able to get �in touch with them on the phone. After much discussion, they reluctantly refunded the cost of the walnuts.to US. This was not a desirable solution because it didn't benefit the recipient of our gift and it has definitely left "a bad taste" in all of our mouths!

My husband's new "drug"!

I�m a walnut nut, but these were overly sweetened, overly encrusted and hard to eat. It started as an indulgence and now its a burden. Maybe on oatmeal????????

These were so good I ordered more.

I ordered these and the candied pecans and almonds. They are delicious and addicting. There is plenty of "candy" on them but they aren't too sweet. I used them in cookies this year and will order them again.
